TUBERCULOSIS.
This part of the report, which has been in the main
prepared by the Tuberculosis Officer, deals with the work of
the Department under the Public Health (Tuberculosis)
Regulations, 1912, and under the dispensary scheme approved
by the Ministry of Health and by the London County
Council.
Notification Statistics. The total number of primary
notifications, including 14 duplicates, received was 356.
Notifications on forms C and D, i.e., notifications from institutions
regarding admission and discharge, are not included in
the above figures. It will be noted that the above figure,
356, compares very favourably with last year's total which
was 428.
The distribution of the various cases since 1918, was as
follows:—
