HOSPITAL TREATMENT AND OTHER FORMS OF MEDICAL
RELIEF.
There is no general hospital in Woolwich, and in consequence
considerable use is made of the London general hospitals, but
no actual figures showing to what extent are available.
It is proposed to erect a general hospital in Woolwich as a
War Memorial, and plans for its erection are slowly maturing.
Some information showing the extent to which hospitals
are used may be obtained from the death returns, and the
following table shows the number of cases which died in
various institutions during the year.
