OF WOOLWICH,

PART I.
STATISTICS.
1. Population. The basis of all statistics is the population,
and the value of the birth and death rates depends on its
being as nearly correct as possible.
The population of the Borough of Woolwich, as estimated
at the Census of 1911, was 121,376. The increase since the
previous Census was 4,198.
The population of the four registration districts at the last three Censuses was as follows:—
