Most of the new houses certified in 1911 were in
Eltham Parish.
4. At the 1911 Census there were 1,296 unoccupied houses
in t^he Borough, viz., 450 in Woolwich, 387 in West Plumstead,
250 in East Plumstead, and 209 in Eltham.
At tjhe 1901 Census there were 234 in the Borough, viz.,
46 in Woolwich, 86 in Plumstead, and 102 in Eltham.

5. The number of births was 2,814, viz., 1,001 in Woolwich
parish, 836 in West Plumstead, 726 in East Plumstead, and
