and St. Margaret's Wards, and East Plumstead the Central
and St. Nicholas Wards.

The Census shows that in recent years too high a population
has been estimated, and the birth and death rates
given for those years were consequently somewhat too low.
Probably the population estimated ms not far from the mark
up till 1905. For the years 1906-10 an average population
of the Wards and Parishes has been taken, based on the
recent Census and the estimated population in 1905, viz.:—
