The death-rate for 1900 is thus seen to be higher than that
of the preceding years, being the highest known since 1890.
I have appended Tables Nos. VIII. and IX., which show the
position taken by Woolwich in this respect as compared with
other large towns and with the various Metropolitan Sanitary
Districts.
