98. Princes Road and Armstrong Street Areas (see Appendix
I.) In the course of the year, I prepared statistics for these
areas, and devoted a large amount of time to a house to house
inspection of the Princes Eoad area. I referred to the results
of this inspection as I went on, but I have not previously had
the opportunity of completing my report on it. I now present
it in an appendix to this report, with Tables A and B giving
the statistics. Table C gives the statistics of the Armstrong
Street area, but I was unable to find time to inspect this area
house to house as I had hoped to do. This was done however
by the Sanitary Inspector, and insanitary conditions and overcrowding
remedied in a large number of cases.
