Of the total deaths from Tubercular diseases during 1900,
18 were of children under 5 years of age, and 118 of persons at
ages of 5 and upwards.
It will thus be seen that the total deaths from Phthisis for
1900 are the highest on record; other Tubercular diseases have
fallen from 41, which was their total last year, to 34.
