SUMMARY OF PUBLIC ANALYST'S QUARTERLY REPORTS
for the Year 1962
The following is a summary of the reports submitted each quarter
of the year in compliance with Section 99 of the Food and Drugs Act 1955
by the Council's Public Analyst, Mr.D.F.H.Button, A.R.C.S.,F.R.I.C., of
Southwark Health Services Department, Walworth Road, S.E.17. A copy of
each quarterly report is submitted to the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries
and Food in accordance with the same section of the Act.
During the year, 412 sampler were submitted for analysis, 45 of
which were purchased or taken formally and 367 informally.
The samples are classified as follows:-
