SUMMARY OF PUBLIC ANALYST'S QUARTERLY REPORTS
for the year 1961.
The following is a summary of the reports submitted each quarter of
the year, in compliance with Section 99 of the Food and. Drugs Act, 1955,
by the Council's Public Analyst, Mr. D. F. H. Button, A. R. C. S., F. R. I. C., of
Southwark Health Services Department, Walworth Road, S. E.17. A copy of
each quarterly report is submitted to the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries,
and Food, in accordance with the same section of the Act.
During the year, 387 samples were submitted for analysis, 64. of which
were purchased or taken formally and 323 informally.
