In connection with the above samples C717 and C 720, four samples of
milk were taken on request by the Essex County Council from the farms
concerned. Three of these samples were deficient in fat and solids-not-fat
and the fourth was deficient in fat only.
The average composition of the samples of milk genuine and adulterated
received during the year is shown below. The four samples from Essex are
not included.
