eventually form the hard cheese. Cream Cheeses are soft cheeses made
from cream. According to a pamphlet issued by the Ministry of Agriculture

There is no legal standard for cream cheese. There is, however, a legal

requires Extra Selected (Double Cream) Cheese to contain 70 per cent, of
fat and Selected Cream Cheese to contain 55 per cent, of fat. (Statutory
Rules and Orders, 1935, No. 1351).
