Glanders.
Under the London (Notification of Glanders) Order, 1907, the Veterinary
Inspector of the London County Council reported in accordance with the provisions
of that Order, the existence of Glanders in two stables in the borough in which
four horses were affected.
Anthrax.
Anthrax occurred in three stables in the Borough during the year and three
horses died from the disease. No other horses were attacked in the same stables.
One of the stables was situated in Mile End, one in Ratcliffe and one in Whitechapel
Inhabited House Duty.
Five applications were received for certificates under the Inland Revenue
Act, 1903, for the purpose of securing exemption from Inhabited House Duty.
The certificates granted related to 15 tenements.
No applications were refused.
Verminous Persons.
1,452 verminous persons were cleansed during the year and their clothing
disinfected, 1,432 men, 13 women, 3 boys and 4 girls.

Articles Destroyed on account of their condition and at the request of the Owners.
