MEASLES EPIDEMIC, 1937/1938
The measles epidemic commenced in Shoreditch towards the end of January,
1938, and decreased to non-epidemic proportions in July. The following information
relates to the whole of the epidemic, viz., 1st November, 1937, to 31st August, 1938:—
