Illegitimate Death Rate.
Of the 54 illegitimate births, in 3, or 5.55 per cent., death occurred before
reaching the age of one year, which corresponds to an infantile mortality rate of
56 per 1,000 births. This is a decrease of 140 as compared with 1933.
