Examination of Milk Supplied to L.C.C. Hospitals and Schools, 1933.
During 1933, 18 samples of milk were taken in course of delivery to St.
Leonard's Hospital and 14 to Holborn Institution, all of which complied
with the standard fixed by the Board of Agriculture. Two of the samples
did not comply with the standard laid down by the L.C.C. contract, and these
were reported upon to the appropriate department of that Authority.
In May a sample of Pasteurized milk was taken in course of delivery to
the Holborn Institution, which was submitted to the Bacteriologist. The
sample conformed to the standard laid down for "Pasteurized" milk.

During 1933 samples of milk were taken from 6 dairymen who deliver milk to schools in the Borough as follow:—
