Cancer.
The deaths from Cancer in the Borough during the year numbered 148
as compared with 122 in 1931. Particulars concerning these deaths as
regards age, situation of disease and Ward are given in the table on page 29.
As was the case last year the stomach was the most frequent site of disease
among the deaths from Cancer allocated to Shoreditch during the year.
The deaths from Cancer during the last five years per million persons living are given in the following comparative table:—
