The percentage of samples found to be adulterated is the lowest so far recorded.
RAG FLOCK ACT, 1911.
Under the above Act 10 samples were taken for analysis. Two contained
207, and 32 parts respectively of soluble chlorine per 100,000 in excess of the amount
allowed. Proceedings were instituted and the defendant was ordered to pay £3 3s. Od.
costs in the first and £2 2s. Od. costs in the second.
