Metropolitan Borough of Shoreditch.
Sir and Gentlemen,—
This report deals with the public health, sanitary condition and vital statistics
of the Borough for the year ending December 31st, 1905.
POPULATION.
stem and Acton Wards, having a census population of 36,148. The 1901 census populations of the eight wards mentioned are as set out below:—

For statistical purposes it appears advantageous to adopt the wards as separate
localities. Statistics as to the registration sub-districts may be readily obtained from
those relating to the wards,
