notice that the premature births for 1912-11-10 were 30, 27, and 30
respectively.

The second edition of' ten thousand copies of this useful pamphlet, which
I had revised thoroughly, was published in February.
Infant Mortality. On 4th June I attended as Edmonton's
delegate, a National Conference on this subject at Caxton Hall. The
proceedings were opened by the Right. Hon. John Burns, M.P., President
of the Local Government Board, with an interesting speech. The object of
this afternoon's meeting was to concentrate by fusion of several Societies,
whose energies are now somewhat overlapping, the efforts of all those
interested in the welfare of the child from birth up to school age, say
5 years.
