MILK (SPECIAL DESIGNATIONS) REGULATIONS
Licences to deal in specially designated milks were currently
held as under:-
Dealers (Pasteurisers) Licences 1
Pasteurised 150
Sterilised 103
Ultra Heat Treated 40
Untreated 65
RAG FLOCK AND OTHER FILLING MATERIALS
ACT, 1951
Standards for the cleanliness of specified materials used in filling
upholstery, soft furnishings, bedding, toys, etc., are provided by
this Act.
Premises where such materials are used and/or stored must
be licensed by the Local Authority and provision is made for
sampling the materials. Samples may be taken from stocks and
also from finished articles which may be opened up for this
purpose.
Samples of the undermentioned materials were taken and
proved to be satisfactory: -
Rag flock, dyed fibre, coir fibre, kapok and feathers.
HOUSING AND SLUM CLEARANCE
PROGRESS SINCE 1st JANUARY, 1965
In presenting this report the opportunity is taken to review
the progress of slum clearance and housing from the formation of
the London Borough of Bromley on 1st April, 1965, to the end of
1967.
At the beginning of 1965 there were still parts of the "Groves
Area" in Penge which had been represented in Clearance Areas,
Compulsory Purchase Orders had been made, and houses not
demolished.
Since 1965, the following houses have been demolished in
these Areas: -

Hawthorne Grove-Nos. 28, 32, 34, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50,
52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 64, 64a, 66, 68, 74, 74a, 76.
Limetree Avenue-Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11.
Hamilton Place-Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.
Jasmine Grove-Nos. 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37,
39, 41, 43, 45.
Hartfield Grove-Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.
