	Portion of Hot Cross Bun.
(j)	Composition: Contained a stone (0.7 in. x 0.4 in.). Adherent to the stone was sand and cement as well as farinaceous matter.	Legal proceedings. Manufacturer fined £10 with £9 6s. 1d. costs.
	Serial No. F.C. 176. Bun.
(j)	Composition: The glass splinter associated with the bun measured approximately 6 mm. long and 2 mm. wide. There were traces of food residues adhering to it and these contained wheat structures.	No action. Unable positively to ascertain origin of glass.

	Non-Alcoholic Rum Flavour.
(k)	Composition: The drink complied with the requirements of the Soft Drink Regulations as regards composition but the labelling requires consideration in that grapes are depicted on it, suggesting the presence of a product of the grape and Non-Alcoholic Rum Flavour suggests a flavour rather than a drink. The word "Drink" could be added after "Flavour".	Manufacturers have gone into voluntary liquidation.

(1)	Composition: Complies with the B.P.C. requirements as to composition and purity. The article is no longer B P.	Manufacturers reprinting label to comply.

	Aspirin Tablets-
(m)	Composition: Aspirin 322 mg. tablet. B.P. limits for 300 mg. tablets which replaces the 5 grain tablet, 185-315 mg. Probably old stock.	Stock withdrawn from sale.

(a)	Composition: Dark areas of discoloura tion on the surface of the meat due to slight corrosion of the inner surface of the can.	Matter drawn to atten tion of Embassy of ex porting country.

(i)	Composition: Contained preservative	Vendor now exhibiting
	(240 p.p.m.) which had not been declared.	permanent preservative notice.

(i)	Composition: Meat 44%. Should contain not less than 50% meat.	Correspondence with Manufacturers. Repeat formal sample-Satisfactory.
