Tuberculosis
There were 14 deaths from pulmonary tuberculosis during the
year, giving a death rate of 0.05.
The provisional national rate for all forms of tuberculosis is
0.48 per 1,000 population.
Street Accidents
1,878 street accidents occurred in the Borough during 1965.
2,619 persons were injured and 26 died. These totals include 391
children under 15 years of age who were injured, and 5 who died.
