The staff of six Health Visitors are Infant Protection
Visitors for the purposes of the Act. They visit boardedout
children at regular intervals, and make investigation
into the home circumstances for report on the suitability
of prospective foster-parents before certificate of sanction
is granted.
There were no instances found of breaches of the
regulations.
