The Health Visitor paid -375 visits to tubercular
patients during 1935, giving; advice on care of the patient
and on the principles that make for fitness in the contacts.
No occasion arose during the year to take action under
the provisions of the Public Health (Prevention of Tuberculosis)
Regulations, 1925, which relates to persons suffering
from pulmonary tuberculosis employed in the milk
trade, or under Section 62 of the Public Health Act, 1925,
which relates to the compulsory removal to a hospital of
persons suffering from tuberculosis.
Dr. Edelston, Tuberculosis Officer, has kindly
furnished me with the following statistics of the work of
the Dispensary during 1935:—
