Children and Young Persons Act, 1932.
The following particulars have been extracted from
the records kept with reference to foster-children and
foster-parents:—
(a) No. of persons receiving children for
reward at the end of 1935 35
(b) No of children on the register at the end
of 1935 39
Failure to give notice of reception in three instances
within the prescribed number of days were dealt with
informally as in each case the contraventions were not
flagrant breaches of the regulations.
One boarded-out child died in 1935 from diphtheria.
