Scarlet Fever.
This disease was much less prevalent in 1936 than in either of
the two preceding years, only 98 notifications being received as compared
with 201 in 1935, and 292 in 1934. The disease was very
evenly distributed over the year and was uniformly of a very mild
type, with no deaths. 85 cases were admitted to Isolation Hospitals.
