General Observations on Open Air Schools.
We were impressed in all the institutions that we visited
by the testimony which was borne to the value of open-an
schools. The children in attendance increased in weight and
chest measurement. Their nutrition, as measured by their
carriage, general health, blood tests and colour, improved
quickly under the conditions obtaining at these schools.
Their mentality also increased. In particular it was recorded
