“(c) The Board think that it would be preferable if the
buildings shown on the plans were re-arranged, so
that the class-rooms were spread out in a single line
facing south, with the administrative portion in
the middle.
“(d) The teaching verandahs might with advantage be
separated from the main building.
“4. The plans of the proposed buildings are also
returned herewith, in order that they may receive further
consideration in the light of the above suggestions. The
Board will now await the submission of the amended plans.
“5. In conclusion, I am to express the regret of the
Board that an earlier communication has not been sent to
the Authority.

had also before it a report of the Children's Care Committee,
which was adopted, as follows :—
Open Air School.
“1. We have received a letter from the Board of Education
(15th June, 1914), stating that they are prepared to
approve the proposal to purchase a site of 7.3 acres for the
purposes of an open air school at Denzil Road, and enclosing
their formal approval. The Board nave returned the plans,
and in connection therewith make certain suggestions as to
the type of building and the arrangement of the class-rooms
and administrative block. We have carefully considered the
Board's suggestions, and recommend —
