HOSPITAL REPORT for 1910.
To the Chairman and Councillors of the Willesden
Urban District Council.
Gentlemen,
I have the honour to submit to you my
Eighth Annual Report, which deals with the work
at your Hospital for the year 1910.
It is gratifying to note that as compared with
recent years the number of patients admitted is
small, and is lower than that of any year since
1900.
To a certain extent this favourable circumstance
may be attributed to the good effects of the
isolation treatment of infectious cases, but, it is
possible that it is more accurately ascribed to the
diminished incidence, during the last year and
more, of infectious disease within the district.
From the returns of the Metropolitan Asylums
Board it would seem that Districts in London have
