preserves the original entries made by the respective
persons responsible in an ever accessible and
permanent record, ft can readily be adaptable to
the new conditions without dislocation of existing
organization.
The Annual Report required under the regulations
( par 13 of Memorandum ) should be prepared
and presented by the" Supervising Medical Officer
of Schools. In accordance with the recommendation
of the Local Government Board, intimated in a
recently issued Memorandum, and in conformity
with the sub-section (e) 13 of the Memorandum of
the Board of Education, this report should be issued
with the closely related report of the Medical Officer
of Health.
Duties of
Assistant
Medical
Officers.
The Assistant Medical Officer of Schools should
be a registered Medical Practitioner, possessing the
qualifications, set out in paragraph 7, above quoted,
who should devote the whole of his time to the work.
He should act under the immediate direction of the
Supervising Medical Officer, and his duties should
be those already indicated.
