Inspection of dwelling-houses during the year:—
(a) (i) Total number of dwelling-houses inspected
for housing defects (under Public Health
or Housing Acts) 2,143
(ii) Number of inspections made for the purpose 4,066
(b) (i) Number of dwelling-houses (included under
sub-head (i) above) which were inspected
and recorded under the Housing Act, 1957 10
(ii) Number of inspections made for the purpose 74
(c) Number of dwelling-houses found not to be in all
respects reasonably fit for human habitation 179
Remedy of defects during the year without service of
formal notices:—
