SANITARY CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE AREA.
Water.
The whole of Wembley is served by a continuous supply
of water. Much the greater area is supplied by the Colne
Valley Water Company, a small area of Sudbury obtaining
its supply from the Rickmansworth and Uxbridge Water
Company.
The London, Midland and Scottish Railway owns four
cottages which obtain their supply from the Railway Company's
private main.
Samples of these waters were submitted to the Clinical
Research Association for analysis during the year. Appended
is a table showing results of chemical and bacteriological
examination.
There are no private wells in the district which are.
used for the supply of water for domestic purposes.
