(b) INSPECTION OF MEAT AND OTHER FOODS.
Visits have been paid to the various slaughterhouses on
practically every occasion on which slaughtering of beasts
or pigs has taken place. During the year there were
slaughtered:—

INSPECTION OF OTHER FOODS.
The various premises in Wembley in which food is
manufactured, prepared, stored or exposed for sale, have
been frequently inspected during the year and the conditions
existing have usually been satisfactory. The bakehouses are
inspected at frequent intervals and usually kept in a clean
condition.

ACT.
I am indebted to Mr. Robinson, Chief Officer of the
Public Control Department of the Middlesex County Council,
for the following facts relating to samples taken during the
year in this district.
