Public Swiming Baths and Bathing Pools.
Byelaws are now in force in the district for securing the purity of the water
in Swimming Baths and Pools, also for ensuring cleanliness and adequacy of
accommodation, prevention of accidents and regulating conduct of persons using the
Baths or Pools.
There is only one Public swimming pool in the district which is attached to a
road-house.
This has been inspected from time to time and was always found to be conducted
in conformity with the Bye-laws.
I am,
Yours obediently,
CHARLES WILLIAM HILL, M.S.I.A.
Chief Sanitary and Housing Inspector,
Meat, Food and Petroleum Inspector.
