ISOLATION HOSPITAL.
The number of patients treated in hospital
during 1943 was 585, as against 475 during 1942,
ans,393 during 1941. (This number comprises all
patients admitted during the year, together with
those in hospital on 1st January, 1943.)

The diseases for which the 545 patients were
admitted during 1943 were as follows:
Scarlet fever 263
Scarlet fever & Mastoiditis 3
Scarlet fever & Measles 1
Scarlet fever & Chicken pox 3
