The cost of feeding staff and patients during the past year
averaged 8½d. per head per day.
During the year 117 eases were admitted; of these 94
were notified as Scarlet Fever, 19 as Diphtheria, 1 as Typhoid
Fever, 1 as Erysiplelas, 1 as Measles, and 1 as Acute Poliomyelitis
Twenty-eight of the cases were sent in by the Friern
Barnet Urban District Council, of which 24 were Scarlet Fever
and 4 Diphtheria.
There were 2 deaths, 1 from Diphtheria and 1 from Scarlet
Fever.
The average times of detention in Hospital were:—
For Scarlet Fever 50 days, for Diphtheria 44 days.

An agreement has been entered into with the Friern Barnet
Urban District Council, whereby from March 25th, 1910, six beds
