SCHOOL CLINICS
Sessions are held as under, exclusively for school children:-
NORTHWOOD Ryefield Court, Ryefield Crescent.
First and Third Tuesdays in month
at 9. 30 a. m.
RUISLIP MANOR The Clinic, Lady Bankes School,
Dawlish Drive.
Fridays, 9. 30 a. m.
RUISLIP Manor Farm
Second and FourthTuesdays in month
at 9. 30 a. m.
SOUTH RUISLIP West Mead
Fridays, 9.30 a.m.
DENTAL CLINICS
Dental treatment is available for school children, expectant and nursing mothers
and children under five years. Appointments are made only through the School Medical
or Infant Welfare Services.
HEALTH VISITORS
This service makes available practical advice on all matters relating to the health
of the family. Qualified Health Visitors (who are also the School Nurses) are in attendance
at clinic sessions and also visit homes where there are babies and young children.
DOMICILIARY MIDWIVES
The following midwives are employed by the County Council to attend mothers
throughout pregnancy and confinement. Under the terms of the National Health Service
Act, this service is now provided without charge.
