During the year 101 inspections were made of Outworkers'
premises.
(iv) Caravan Sites.
There are 7 licensed caravan sites, one of which is still controlled by
the Council.
Altogether, there are 291 caravans on these sites. The sites, in
general, are maintained in a satisfactory condition.
(v) Prevention of Damage by Pests Act, 1949.
During the year the Public Health Inspectors and Rodent Operative
carried out 2,702 inspections, or re-inspections, to premises suspected
of being infested by rats or mice.
Further maintenance treatment, in respect of rat disinfestation to
sewers, was undertaken during the year.
