4.—INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
The Sanitary Inspectors have again given a considerable
amount of time to the inspection of meat and other foods at the
Regional Slaughterhouse, which is situate in this area, at the Meat
Depots, Butchers' Shops, Stalls, etc.
Altogether, 1,018 visits have been paid, and at the Slaughterhouse
alone, 14,954 carcases were examined.
