(c) As the result of the service of notices, the necessary works
were completed by the owners or occupiers in all cases
except 191, the works for which were still in hand at the
end of the year.
To enable the work to be carried out more satisfactorily, the
Council sanctioned the appointment of another Sanitary Inspector,
but, by the end of the year, we were unable to obtain one to fill
this appointment.
(v) Factories Act, 1937.
As mentioned in the Report of last year, Ministry of Health
Circular 13/47 requires that the statistics, relative to this section
of the work should be submitted in an amended form. A summary
of this amended form is given below :—
