Food Poisoning
One case of food poisoning was notified.
Scarlet Fever
There were 20 cases of scarlet fever notified (as against 11 in 1957) and
six cases were removed to hospital.
The disease generally was of a mild type and there were no "return" cases.
No deaths were recorded.
Sonne Dysentery
There were four cases of Sonne Dysentery during 1958.
Measles
A total of 155 cases was notified during the year compared with 662 the
previous year. There were no deaths.
