Adulteration, etc.
The Kent County Council administers the Food and Drugs
(Adulteration) Act in this District.

The Clerk to the Kent County Council has kindly furnished the following statement of the 62 samples taken:—

Proceedings were taken in respect of the sample of Ground
Ginger, with the result that the Vendor was convicted and
fined £1 and ordered to pay Five Guineas costs.
