The total weight of meat surrendered and condemned at the slaughterhouses is as follows :—

Other Foods.
There are 15 bakehouses in the district, one being underground.
These have been periodically inspected and cleansed.
Two informal notices to remedy defects were served and complied
with.
In addition to visits to the slaughterhouses, 433 visits were
made to premises and stalls where foods are prepared, stored
or exposed for sale, and, with a few exceptions, these were
found to be kept in a satisfactory condition.
The following list shows the amount of food which was surrendered and then condemned from shops and stalls, and afterwards destroyed :—
