There are 16 bakehouses in the district, 2 being underground.
These have been periodically inspected and cleansed.
Four informal notices to remedy defects were served and
complied with.
In addition to visits to the slaughterhouses, 403 visits
were made to premises and stalls where foods are prepared,
stored or exposed for sale, and, with a few exceptions, these
were found to be kept in a satisfactory condition.

The following list shows the amount of food which was surrendered and then condemned from shops and stalls, and afterwards destroyed:—
