Visits are paid to meat purveyors' premises from time to
time, and attention drawn to the requirements of the Public
Health (Meat) Regulations.
Six intimation notices were served requiring defects in
butchers' premises to be remedied. The notices were complied
with.
Slaughterhouses.

These have been regularly limewashed and inspected.
The total number of visits to the slaughterhouses was 327.

The number of animals examined after slaughter in the district during the year is as follows:—
