*In addition to primary notifications, all other new cases
coming to the knowledge of the Medical Officer of Health are
included in these figures, such as cases which have been
previously notified in other districts and transferred to Penge,
and patients who died from tuberculosis and were not notified
previous to death.
There were 187 cases of tuberculosis on the register at the end of the year, as follows :—

I have again to express my thanks to the Chairman and
Members of the Public Health and Maternity and Child
Welfare Committee for their cordial support during the year,
and also to the Staff of the Public Health Department for
their co-operation.

at the Maternity and Child Welfare Centre.
