Forty-six visits were made to the Dairies in the district during
1957.
Slaughterhouses and Slaughtermen.
One hundred and sixty visits were made by the Public Health
Inspectors to the five licensed slaughterhouses.
Licences were issued to twenty slaughtermen under the
Slaughter of Animals Acts 1933 to 1954.
