SWIMMING BATHS AND POOLS.
There are no public swimming baths or pools in use within the
District at the present ime.
CAMPING SITES.
No licences were granted by the Council during the year with
respect to Camping sites.
SMOKE ABATEMENT.
No action was found to be necessary during the year with reference
to nuisances from smoke.
ERADICATION OF BED BUGS.
Number of houses infested:
Council Houses 6
Other Houses 8
All the houses were disinfested.
Council houses.—Strict supervision is exercised in regard to
possible infestations, and advice given where necessary. In all cases
where infestation is found, the necessary action is taken by the
Council.
Other houses.—When cases of infestation are brought to the
Council's notice, the premises are inspected and advice given to the
occupiers.
Zaldecide insecticide is used in connection with disinfestations.
