TUBERCULOSIS.

The following Table shows the number of new cases of Tuberculosis notified, together with the number of deaths registered:—

The Kent County Council undertakes the treatment for
cases of Tuberculosis, and the following number of patients
have received treatment during the year:—
Number receiving sanatorium treatment 27
Number receiving Dispensary treatment 14
Dispensary supervision only 145
PUBLIC HEALTH ACT, 1936 (SECTION 176).
PUBLIC HEALTH (PREVENTION OF TUBERCULOSIS)
REGULATIONS, 1925.
It was not found necessary to take any action under the
above during the year.
ISOLATION HOSPITAL.
This District is served by the West Kent Joint Isolation
Hospital, and the following number of patients have been
admitted there during the year:—
Scarlet Fever 142
Diphtheria 18
Typhoid Fever 2
Cerebro-spinal Fever 1
In addition, 4 patients were admitted to London Countv
Council's Hospitals suffering from Diphtheria.
